How It Works

This advanced machine combines dehumidification, drying and feeding functions within one unit. It first uses a desiccant rotor to remove moisture from the air. As the moist air passes through the rotor, the desiccant adsorbs the water vapor, ensuring that the air directed towards the plastic materials is dry. Then, the heated and dehumidified air circulates around the plastic pellets in the drying hopper. The heat helps to drive out the moisture trapped within the plastic pellets, while the low-humidity air environment prevents re-absorption of moisture. For the case of hygroscopic plastics such as PET and PA, this process is especially vital as these materials maintain moisture not just on the surface.
